Well ladies and gents, ( and folie) after a very lengthy discussion with a certain girl i've decided to more or less completely change my plans for the future(sp?), I've given up on the idea of becomign a fighter pilot because it will take me away from her and because it's seriously nigh impossible to be chosen for and a few other reason. Instead i'm now choosing to pursue a career in journalism. I'll be honest, i only have a slight idea of what that entails, but i've found a uni that does a course in it it, near me so i'm probably going to end up going there.

So yer i'm hoping to be a sort of photojournalist? i think is the term and like write reports and feaure articles (which i recently wrote one for school and found rather entertaining to write, if a little hard but i love a challenge). Hopefully i'll get to report foreing news evetually and i want to get a job with the Sydney morning Herald, which is Austraia's leading print news provider (i think). So hopefully one day you might hear about me on the news!

I will say that giving up on an idea you've had for 6 years does kinda suck but i went through it before so i'll deal besides, this means i get to spend my life with said girl, so it's all good. But i honestly wouldn't recommend trying it.

So that's all from me for now, any thoughts on journalism or better yet, any ideas on how to become one.
